Important Change to Prescription Requests
From 1 May 2026, we will no longer accept prescription requests by email. Emails requesting prescriptions will not be processed
How to request your medication
Please use one of the following options:
- The NHS App: The quickest and easiest way to order repeat prescriptions
- Your pharmacy: (If they submit prescription requests electronically)
Exception
- Patients who receive dosette (blister pack) prescriptions may continue to have requests sent by email.

This helps us to:
- Process prescriptions safely and securely
- Reduce delays and errors
- Improve services for all patients
